Our Story

 

Jesse Nussbaum started S&T Excavating 20 years ago as a one man operation in the residential sector of excavating, mainly serving homeowners building houses and local developers. The company was also involved in logging in the early years of its development, later fading out of that industry to focus on excavating. Through the years the business steadily expanded by providing quality results to its customers and working with them to satisfy their unique individual needs. S&T soon found its way into the expanding gas and oil business in the area and started evolving its services and equipment to meet the demands of the industry. Today, S&T Excavating is a leading residential, commercial, and gas field services contractor in Northern Pennsylvania.

Safety is a top priority here at S&T Excavating. We keep our construction practices in compliance with all safety standards of the industry. Our employees receive training and certifications from multiple programs on safety and specific field practices. We are proud to be affiliated with these programs
